Unpacking the Gospel of Matthew: Themes, Figures and Events

The Gospel of Matthew is known as the ‘teachers Gospel’ because it heavily features Jesus’s teaching ministry and, thus, has much to teach us about how we find God. This course seeks to explore particular features of the Matthew’s Gospel such as, the importance of community, the value found in balancing tradition and progress, and, most importantly, that God is present among us. Join us as we explore key scenes depicted in the ‘First Gospel’ that touch on these and other themes.
